There are many reasons overnight bivving or night fishing suits the visiting angler, whether it’s the Noctorinal Bream or specimen Tench or Rudd or Roach or the mighty Pike you’re targeting as the night starts to draw in.
Nighttime often brings different fish species to the surface, offering a new challenge for seasoned anglers. twilight hours make the environment more comfortable for both anglers and fish. Summer also brings some species closer to shore, providing additional opportunities for catching that prized specimen.

Why Night Fish?
Overnight Fishing
Even if you don’t plan on fishing through the night, staying over at the swim allows you to be on the water setup ready for daybreak or fishing the first few hours of dark for monster Rudd. Bream are mostly Noctorinal, so fishing for them generally requires staying over. Whether you need a Bivvy or not, in summer we have some great sessions and just sleeping under the trees while the fish aren’t feeding.
